Podcast 209 - Solar One Music

Following in the footsteps of Bunker, German label Solar One Music have been releasing dystopian electro for some time now with the likes of Keith Tucker, Manasyt, Clatterbox, Ali Renault, Shemale and Nimoy (plus my favourite Hadamard) all featuring. I asked label head Robert Witschakowski (and part of The Exaltics) to put together a mix for the podcast It’s exclusively SOM material, with some current and unreleased bits thrown in. When done well, this sort of electro is hard to beat and SOM are thankfully producing some stellar cuts that keep this genre glowing nicely. The Oestral track in particular is a cracker.

it's maybe prurient to single it out but that electronic ass-slap sound on sodomacid manages to be both hilarious and genius!
