We’re hoping you can join us for another of our intimate parties celebrating electronic music at Corsica Studios in London. June’s party with Omar-S and Donato Dozzy was a spectacular success, and we’re keeping on the marathon DJ set tip with an all-night collaboration of techno between Surgeon and DJ Pete. To complement them in the other room we have deep house sourced with care by Detroit’s Patrice Scott and Newworldaquarium. There’s also time for Bleep43’s own Orphan playing live, and resident DJs Toby Frith and Dan Bean.

Surgeon & DJ Pete
They brought the house down for us in 2008, and we thought it rude not to invite them back again. During the 90’s Surgeon and DJ Pete were resident at Berlin’s legendary Tresor club, and would play back to back all night. Tony Child’s remit is to provide a journey that takes in all that is techno and beyond, touching upon industrial, synthpop, electro and much more, made all the more potent by the attention to detail in both his production and mixing. His position as Britain’s finest Techno producer and DJ is unquestioned. DJ Pete aka Pete Kuschnereit has been a central figure in the Berlin techno movement, recording as one half of Scion and his own Substance project, and DJing as a resident at Berlin’s current techno mecca, Berghain.

Patrice Scott
Continuing our run of Detroit DJs that has included DJ Stingray and Omar-S this year, Patrice Scott makes his Bleep43 debut for us. Patrice cut his teeth as a DJ back in the early 80’s, but has now come to the fore with the emergence of his label Sistrum, which specializes in deep techno. Lauded singles such as “Beyond Deep”, “Atmospheric Emotions” and “Excursions” provide proof that he is at the forefront of a new wave of cerebral, abstract dance music coming from the Motor City.

Newworldaquarium
Jochem Peteri’s idiosyncratic take on house music has won him many loyal fans over the years, and the Amsterdam producer returns to Bleep43 for a rare performance. Jochem has crafted some exquisite music since his debut in 1993, ranging from the fragmented abstraction of 154’s Strike to early releases on Stefan Robbers’ Eevolute label. However, it’s his NWAQ alias that has seem him most active, with a string of superb singles on Peacefrog and Delsin, plus his critically acclaimed “Dead Bears” LP on his own label in 2007.

Orphan
Bea Brennan’s live project has been a regular at Bleep43 since 2003, and this will be her fifth outing, giving you another chance to check her melodic talents.
